Course Content

Dissertation (Major Project)
This module provides the opportunity for you to undertake a significant piece of independent research using appropriate, recognised methods. You will identify and pursue a topic relevant to project management that is of interest and in which you wish to develop a significant level of expertise. You’ll develop and refine the theme for the project together with your course tutor, who will support you during the research and writing process. This module is your opportunity to put your newly acquired skills and knowledge into practice and to showcase them to current and prospective employers.
Study Method
The MSc Project Management (Top-Up) degree is studied 100% online through Anglia Ruskin University. You’ll study through Canvas, world-class online Learning Management System (LMS), which can be accessed from your phone, pc or tablet at home or on the move. Canvas provides instant access to study materials, forums, and support from tutors and classmates, as well as enabling easy submission of your assignments.
Students will have the option of choosing either the 4 months (one trimester) option, or the 9 months (two trimesters) option for both Blended Learning (On-Campus) and Distance Learning (Online).
Students that have initially applied for one-term (full time) option, may request a maximum extension of 1 week (under exceptional circumstances) to submit their work. However, if having started the course they require longer to work on their dissertation, they have until the end of week 6 of teaching to request a transfer to the “part time” route which allows students to study at a slower pace, and to submit their dissertation later.
On successful completion of your studies, you’ll be invited to attend a graduation ceremony on campus. If attending the ceremony in person is not possible then we’ll arrange to have your certificate sent to you.
